Device network requirements

Network requirements:

• The signage device does not require to access the Internet, it only has to be able to reach the CMS.
• The device uses the following protocols to communicate with the CMS:
  • 80/TCP
  • 443/TCP
  • 123/UDP
    • Used for content synchronization function.
  • 53/TCP, UDP
    • Used by the DNS. Mandatory if the device access the server with the domain name.
• Optional:
  • In case of using 3rd party webpages (e.g., YouTube, streams, embedded webpages), the device should have Internet access.
• The following TLS versions should be allowed:
  • TLSv1.3
  • TLSv1.2
