    Database

    The system needs a directory where it can store uploaded files. All uploaded files (pictures, videos, etc.) can be accessed through the API. After upload, all of the files get an ID (GUID base, 32 characters long) which is stored in the database. The API uses this ID to get the file location on the file system.

    Wallboard always recommends that all partners make a regular backup of the server components to a secure and independent network drive.

    Wallboard further recommends that partners should notify their end customers to make exports of their contents and archive them independently.

    The MySQL service is not available for remote access and only reachable via localhost through SSH (optional). It’s either bound to the port 3306 or 3307.
