Concurrent License Limitation Feature

Geomant Wallboard version 2.10+ includes a concurrent license limitation feature that allows a superadmin user to restrict the number of screens actively using the wallboard at the same time.

For example, a client may have 400 agents but with only 100 active at once. In this case, the client may want to purchase 100 licenses to allow:

• 90 users to access the Desktop Broadcaster App (DBA)
• 10 users to access the signage (e.g., Android, Windows, Samsung, etc.)

When any users above the 100 available attempts to log in, they will see a screen overlay that the Content cannot be displayed.

Notes:

It is not possible to separate DBA and signage logins. If 100 users log in with DBA, none will be able to log in with signage. A best practice is to increase your total license limit (e.g., to 110 if you expect 100 users).

Concurrent Licensing applies for Windows Client (x86, x64), DBAs, and Android devices.
